COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course is designed for students interested in refining skills in painting and drawing. Students will learn advanced drawing and painting techniques using pencil, ink, charcoal, pastel, watercolors, and acrylic paint.  Students will learn about renowned artists from the past as well as explore contemporary approaches to drawing and painting.  By the end of the course students will become versatile artists able to express themselves both realistically and abstractly. This is an excellent course to take in preparation for AP Studio Art.
